Lalitpur: A policy dialogue on “Public Health Taxation: Rationalizing Tobacco, Alcohol and Sugary Drink Taxes” is set to bring together policymakers, lawmakers and public health experts in Lalitpur.

According to the event schedule, Member of Parliament Dr. Toshima Karki and other lawmakers are expected to participate in discussions focused on taxation reform and public health policy.

The session will be chaired by Ganesh Shah, while Dr. Ojaswee Sherchan is scheduled to attend as the Chief Guest.

The dialogue will feature technical presentations and discussions on policy recommendations, health taxation measures and fiscal perspectives aimed at strengthening public health initiatives through taxation policies.
