Kathmandu- Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA), in collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) and Nepal in Business (NIB) is organizing a three-day national workshop aimed at strengthening Nepal’s Wellness Tourism sector.
Featuring internationally renowned wellness experts from Australia — Ms. Katherine Droga and Ms. Sharon Kolkka — this program is designed to equip Nepal’s tourism industry with practical skills in wellness product development, marketing, packaging, certification readiness, and global standards.
Program Dates: 1–3 December 2025
Venue: Hotel Radisson, Kathmandu
Over the three days, participants will engage in interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, strategy discussions and a dedicated wellness tourism framework dialogue tailored specifically for Nepal’s future positioning.
During the opening of the Wellness Tourism Workshop at Radisson Kathmandu, Mr. Kumar mani Thapaliya, President of NATTA, expressed that wellness is deeply embedded in Nepal’s culture, spirituality and daily life. He highlighted Nepal’s strong potential to emerge as a leading global wellness destination and welcomed the APO experts from Australia for their valuable guidance. He emphasized that this workshop marks an important step toward shaping Himalayan Wellness as Nepal’s unique brand identity.
