Xtreme Energy Drink Named Title Sponsor of Nepal Volleyball League


Kathmandu: Xtreme Energy Drink has been announced as the title sponsor of the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL), Nepal’s first top-tier professional men’s franchise-based volleyball league.

The league, organized by Kedia Group, has signed a three-year title sponsorship agreement with Xtreme Energy Drink. Following the agreement, the competition will officially be known as the Xtreme Energy Drink Nepal Volleyball League.

The sponsorship agreement was signed by Ashwin Kedia, Managing Director of Nepal Volleyball League, and Soniya Rana, Business Head of Agro Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd.

The partnership is expected to provide further commercial momentum to the league and expand its scope beyond its initial three editions.

Six franchises set for inaugural season

Preparations for the inaugural edition of the NVL are currently underway, with all six participating franchises intensifying their preparations. The teams feature some of Nepal’s leading volleyball talents, raising expectations for the country’s first professional franchise-based men’s volleyball competition.

The six participating franchises are:

  • Annapurna Spiker Kings
  • Karnali Shivraj
  • Kathmandu Reds
  • Khaptad Falcons
  • Madhesh Warriors
  • Sagarmatha Smashers

The NVL will be held under the slogan “A New Flight to Greater Heights”, with organizers aiming to establish a new benchmark for professional volleyball in Nepal while creating a stronger platform for the development and exposure of Nepali players.

League to begin September 4

The inaugural Xtreme Energy Drink Nepal Volleyball League is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 12, 2026.

All six franchises will compete on a single platform for the historic first NVL championship, marking a significant step in the professionalization and commercialization of volleyball in Nepal.
