Sophie Morgan Calls for Greater Accessibility as Nepal Explores Future of Inclusive Tourism


KATHMANDU: British broadcaster, travel writer and disability-rights advocate Sophie Morgan has called for greater collaboration, better information and more accessible infrastructure to help Nepal unlock its potential as an inclusive tourism destination.

“Journeys Without Barriers: Sophie Morgan in Nepal,” held Friday at the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu, Morgan reflected on her recent journey across Nepal and shared perspectives on how the country can make its tourism experiences more accessible to travellers with disabilities.
The programme was organized by Impact Adventure in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and brought together tourism professionals, government representatives, hospitality leaders, media and disability and accessibility advocates.
