
Kathmandu: Budanilkantha Municipality Ward no 1 in collaboration with WBC Muay Thai is going to organize EPS Fight Night 6 on 13th baisakh with the objective of women empowerment through game.
The venue of the game is organized by Lemon Tree Premier Budanilkantha.
15 Fights are going to happen including Muay Thai, boxing and pre- expert level Muay Thai fights.
There will be 3 professional Muay Thai fights, 3 professional boxing, and 9 pre- expert Muay Thai fights.
Main highlight of the competition will be a fight between Rajina Bista and Apsara Tamang under Superfly weight division for national title.
As the program is organised by WBC and Budanilkantha Municipality Ward no 1, the partners for this program are: 977 Atheletic Department as operational partner, PSN as broadcasting partner, Lemon Tree Premier as hospitality partner, Chirayu Hospital as medical partner.
The organizer believes that this fight will increase women’s self-confidence and strengthen the representation of female athletes in nepal. Surendra Lama, head of the Budanilkantha ward no 1 said that this program was the matter of pride for the ward and the municipality. He says that this program will increase confidence among women and attract young people to sports.
The main objectives of the program are the protection and promotion of combat sports in Nepal, the development of the ability of athletes to compete at the international level, the implementation of a transparent sports system and the organization of national sports programs.
